Of all the creatures living in the Abyss, the octopus is the most familiar to me. I’m reminded of the Beatles’ tune, Octopus’ Garden. They made the area where the octopi live sound safe and sanctuary-like. If I happened to find myself in the Abyss, I’d like to think I might find safety in the Octopuses Garden.
