My mother’s best friend, Vergie, gave her a small teapot for her birthday one year. The gallery where I exhibit had a Tea Party exhibit, so I took photos of the teapot and appliqued the teapots on a background of used teabags. I imagine my Mama and Vergie sharing a pot of tea.
