Workshops
Step into style with this unique and creative workshop led by Susanne Miller Jones! In this class, you'll learn how to turn a simple quilted sandwich made from fat quarters into a fabulous, one-of-a-kind pair of quilted sneakers.
From the sole up, you'll stitch, shape, and strut your way through the process, walking away with handmade kicks that are as bold and original as you are!
You can choose from high-tops, classics, or low-tops. The soles are available in European sizes, ranging from 36 to 47, and come in black or white.
Susanne will provide all the necessary materials for this class, except for your machine and sewing essentials. Soles will be ordered ahead of time at the cost of $60 per pair.
My fee for guilds and shop owners is $800 for 6 hours. I want everyone to go home with at least one upper sewn to the sole and grommets. I will stay until everyone has done that.
Two options:
1-day class – students will finish one shoe or almost, and will have the skills to finish the second one on their own.
2-day class - students will complete both shoes and create a matching clutch.
If you have just a few people, we can still have class. I will charge $100 per person plus the $60 kit fee for the soles.

Reversible Spicy Spiral Table Runner

Make a two-sided table runner that will wow your guests! Susanne will show you how to make it spiral in two different directions and how to make a two-toned binding that will match the colors on each side.
